In a nutshell, I was blindsided by a massive heart attack. Stress caused just like the two my mother had several years ago. Fortunately, while I needed cardiac surgery and the implant of FIVE stents, I didn't need open-heart surgery. The heart attack also caused the onset of Diabetes and while I was not on Insulin for very long, as my doctor says...once you are Diabetic you remain so forever. So, that has made me vulnerable to the side effects which are NOT pleasant.
BUT, I just got a clean bill of health from my Cardiologist...VERY welcome news after the year I have had since March of 2015. But while I was recovering I am afraid RiverFront Commons and the work it entails was just beyond me. I am ONLY NOW beginning the arduous process of trying to bring the entire complex back online. This is an ENORMOUS task and without question will take months and months. Course as with retailing generally whether online or brick and mortar...the work never ends. It NEVER stops, so....
I am posting updated retail stores as fast as I can in Facebook and Twitter and will continue to do so. In the meantime I want to thank everyone for your understanding, and your patience. RiverFront Commons is a work of love, as it originated in my series of novels..."Dime A Dance" and the forthcoming "THE DUSTYBEAR CHRONICLES". A lot of work but fun too. I love to write and to now see something like RFC which until 2007 was only a huge complex IN MY MIND...come to life online. I can't tell you what a thrill it is and has been.
